South Hills Academy Blog

On September 20th, South Hills Academy hosted its Student Retreat Day, bringing elementary, middle, and high school students together for a day of team building and character development. Under the theme "Soaring like an Eagle," students participated in a variety of activities designed to foster qualities like independence, courage, and resilience. From fun games for our youngest learners to leadership exercises for high schoolers, each activity was tailored to help students connect, collaborate, and understand their unique role in the SHA community.

The retreat provided a meaningful opportunity for reflection and growth, with students sharing their experiences of building new friendships, stepping out of their comfort zones, and working together as a team. Through challenging group games and activities, they not only strengthened their bonds but also discovered their potential as leaders. It was a day that reminded us all of the values we hold dear at SHA—supporting one another, leading by example, and striving to make a positive impact in our community. We’re excited to see how our students continue to embrace these lessons as they move forward, soaring higher together. 🦅✨
