Lights! Cameras! Algorithms?!? Believe it or not, that has been the reality of the students in Mr. Davila’s classroom on the South Hills Academy campus these past few weeks.

Mr. Davila is the extraordinary leader of the math department here at SHA. In his AP Calculus class, his students were tasked with creating a music video parody that explained a mathematical principle that they had studied this past semester. The results were creative, informational, and quite funny! This project is one of many that the dedicated teachers and staff at SHA task our students with in our continuing effort to expand out student’s horizons and encourage them to explore new and exciting ideas.
