The Eagle's Nest — A Home Away From Home
Comfortable suites, a full-time dorm parent, balanced meals, and clear structure — boarding that gives parents peace of mind across the Pacific.
Standard & Premium Suites
Two students per bedroom in every suite. Standard pairs two bedrooms (four students) to one bathroom; Premium keeps the bathroom to just that one bedroom's two students. Both include air conditioning and heating, closets, study desks, quality bedding, and 24-hour hot water.
Structure & Supervision
A dedicated full-time on-site dorm parent provides personal guidance and daily care, upholds clear residence rules and routines, and serves as the bridge between parents and the school.
Balanced Meals
Asian and Western menus plus buffet-style options, crafted from fresh, safe ingredients — a taste of home and of the world, every day.
Structured, Caring — and Safe by Design
Boarding at the Eagle's Nest pairs the warmth of a home with the structure parents count on. Clear routines, attentive staff, and modern safety tools mean every student is always accounted for — handled with consistency, care, and respect for each student's dignity.
We Always Know Where Students Are
Students sign in and out through Reach and keep Life360 active whenever they are off campus — so residential staff can account for every student at all times.
Structured Daily Rhythm
Set dorm hours, study hours, curfew, and lights-out routines give students the consistency and focus that help them thrive.
Daily Room & Wellness Checks
Staff check rooms each morning for cleanliness and safety, with doors locked when unattended — building responsibility and peace of mind.
Clear, Fair Accountability
A simple Green / Yellow / Red framework keeps expectations consistent, combining restorative guidance with appropriate consequences.
Respect & Privacy
Students are treated with dignity; sensitive matters are handled discreetly, and we protect every student's personal privacy.
Staff On Call, Parents Informed
On-site and on-call staff are reachable through the campus messaging app; in any emergency we respond immediately and keep parents updated.
Weekend stays follow strict safeguards — a vetted host adult (25+), a signed travel-release form, host contact details on file, and a set Sunday return time. Staff also provide transportation for medical appointments, standardized tests, and approved activities.
A Typical Day at SHA
Boarding students share the same rhythm as every other Eagle — morning chapel, full academics, sports, and clubs — before heading back to the Eagle's Nest each evening.
It's this shared daily life, not just a place to sleep, that makes boarding students one of SHA's tightest-knit communities.
