08 Oct Updated COVID-19 Guidelines
Dear Parents/Guardians:
South Hills Academy is committed to the safety and health of our students and staff. In efforts to provide the safest possible environment in which to learn, we want to inform you that starting October 12, 2021, COVID-19 vaccines and/or weekly COVID testing will be required for students ages 12 and older.
High School students are required to show proof of a COVID19 vaccination card (via digital photo of the hard copy CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card and/or California Department of Public Health digital vaccine QR code) by October 12, 2021 or take a weekly COVID-19 test.
Middle School students 12 years and older will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination card (via digital photo of the hard copy CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card and/or California Department of Public Health digital vaccine QR code) by November 1, 2021 or take a weekly COVID-19 test to provide negative results. Testing will be provided on campus with parental consent.
Failure to comply with vaccination and/or failure to provide negative test results may result in a student not being able to return to school until they show proof of vaccination and/or a negative test result.
We care about our students and staff and we appreciate your commitment to maintaining the safest possible environment for all students and families we serve.
