Summer Programs at South Hills Academy
South Hills Academy’s summer program offers a choice between a summer camp and an academic program. Both programs give students the opportunity to meet and socialize with students from other schools and countries. And our flexibility means students may register for these programs in weekly increments.
Extended Daycare
Summer Daycare hours: 7:00AM-9:00AM and 3:00PM - 6:00PM
Hot Lunches
Hot lunches are available for a fee. Lunch menus are available in advance, and families may pre-order meals.
Summer Camp
The summer camp is all about fun, hands-on experiences that keep students active and engaged throughout the summer.
- A variety of activities including soccer, swimming, language, cooking, art, music, and more
- Weekly field trips to destinations such as Knott’s Berry Farm, Covina Bowl, Chuck E. Cheese, Boomers, and Soak City
- Intercultural exchange opportunities with other students
Academic Program
The summer academic program offers a variety of WASC-accredited academic courses in one-week increments.
- All courses are WASC-accredited
- Courses transfer to other schools
- Make up for missed credits during the school year
- Improve in specific subjects and possibly enter into a more challenging course in the fall
