Teaching Philosophy

The goal is to have students understand and master the language of mathematics.  By building a strong foundation, focusing on definitions and building blocks of mathematics we equip students with the tools and skills to become independent. As Georg Cantor, German mathematician said, “In mathematics the art of proposing a question must be held of higher value than solving it.” To teach critical thinking skills students train their minds to think by asking questions to reach true understanding.
