South Hills Academy is located in West Covina, a city sitting comfortably next to Los Angeles. Its location makes it a perfect drive to the coast and almost every Southern California university. It is minutes away from sceneries that are normally not accessible like beautiful valley peaks, serene ocean views, and exciting mountain hikes.
In a typical school year, there are about 40 international students enrolled (nearly 10% of the student body) from over 12 different countries around the world.

Once an applicant finishes the virtual interview with SHA’s admission office, an email will be sent to the student to inform them of the decision. This is typically within 3 business days.
Accepted international students will be issued an I-20 after they have submitted the required $5,000 tuition deposit.
Yes. SHA offers need-based financial assistance to qualifying families. SHA also provides scholarship opportunities based on a student’s entire application.

SHA does have some sources of financial aid to help cover this amount, depending upon the student’s family financial circumstances. The I-20 is not issued until the required payment has been received.
